Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional for a 13-week contract. This position requires a commitment of one night per week and two weekends, with varied shift times including 10 AM to 10 PM and some 9 AM to 9 PM shifts.Unit InformationThe position is located in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), situated next to the Operating Room in a state-of-the-art facility. The unit features:Number of Beds: 26Staffing: Varies based on shiftsStaffing StructureDay Shift:Charge Nurse and typically one float nurseNight Shift:Two PACU nurses on closed callPatient Care and RatiosThe patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2. Our team manages a diverse array of surgical procedures in the PACU, including:General SurgeryNeuro SurgeryOncology SurgeryOrthopedic SurgeryVascular SurgeryRequired Skills and QualificationsPreferred candidates will possess experience in ICU and PACU settings. Equipment and TechnologyThe unit utilizes modern technology and equipment, enhancing the standard of care provided to our patients.
