ICU Registered Nurse Am Shift

MSICU RN Opportunity at Methodist HospitalMethodist Hospital, located at 7700 Floyd Curl Dr., San Antonio, TX 78229, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MSICU unit. The shift details are 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A with rotating weekends. There are no call requirements and the guaranteed hours are 36. The assignment length is 13 weeks.Special skills and experience required include:Two years or more of ICU experienceACLS and BLS certificationsNIH Stroke Certification (preferred)Preferred skills include:MICU and MSICU backgroundMeditech charting/order entryProcedures performed on the unit include chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes, intubations, central lines, art lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes.Dress code requirements include:Navy scrub top and pant, navy or white scrub jacketClean and healthy nailsNeat and clean hair with no extreme styles or colorsCleanly trimmed beards, mustaches, and sideburnsCovered body art or addressed individuallyNo visible piercings other than earsUnit guidelines include floating, badging in and out for shifts, and taking a full 30-minute lunch.
