Compensation: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour (DOE)

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, hands-on therapy services in school and clinic settings
Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment
Uphold all state licensure, regulatory, and ethical standards

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Qualifications:

Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a COTA

• Instruct, or assist in instructing, patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
• Report to supervisors, verbally or in writing, on patients' progress, attitudes, and behavior.
• Implement, or assist occupational therapists with implementing, treatment plans designed to help clients function independently.
• Monitor patients' performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement.
• Select therapy activities to fit patients' needs and capabilities.
