CSI is looking to hire an analytical and people-oriented individual for the Apprentice Electrician position. You will be responsible for installing electrical for food, dairy, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing skids. This includes meeting with Engineering and Project Managers in assisting with change of scope and design of projects as well as assistance and support of shop crews. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and occasionally outside subcontractors.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills for corresponding with co-workers as well as external customers and vendors.

We’re looking for fun and energetic candidates that want to join our growing family and ensure our customers delight in CSI. Salary: $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience.

Education/Training:

High school diploma or equivalent, required

+1 or more years of recent, full-time, paid, journey-level experience in the electrical trade

Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and/or database

Industrial electrical installation of conduit and wiring up to 480V 3-phase, including;

PLC control system wiring -

Installation of conduit and wiring in hazardous classified locations.

Computer proficiency

The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity is required to perform work using close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, harness, steel toe shoes, and other safety devices as requires by the customer.

The normal work schedule for this position is 40 hours per week, and weekly overtime is not uncommon. The potential for additional overtime hours on Saturday and/or Sunday may occasionally be requested or required. Overtime is not guaranteed.
