RN-Registered Nurse Telemetry - Weekend Night Shift

Traveler Cardiac/Telemetry

Shift: 12-hour nights, 18:4507:15

Assignment length: 1326 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements

Minimum 2 years relevant acute care experience (cardiac/telemetry or comparable acuity)

Valid license (NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal)

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, NIHSS

Must pass specialty EKG testing prior to start

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias.

Start IVs and provide peripheral/central line care.

Care for pre/post cardiac procedures (e.g., pacemakers, ICDs, cardiac catheterization).

Manage and titrate cardiac drips (including Cardizem).

Participate in rapid response and code teams.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation: 36 hours; travelers must be available daily during the first week.

Weekend requirement: Every other weekend plus 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in a 6-week period.

Scrubs: Navy blue or white; no crocs with holes.
