Production Packager - Dayshift

Inspect and pack product, while monitoring/documenting production and adhering to customer specifications

Monitor product quality

Communicate, react and document product concerns and/or defects

Follow quality reaction procedures and/or protocols

Routinely select unbiased Final Quality Assurance (FQA) samples

Perform customer specific packing procedures and pack product of acceptable quality based on customer accepted criteria

Make efficient use of non-productive time to meet departmental and/or business needs (re-inspect product, prepare packing material, clean and assist in other departments as needed, etc.)

Demonstrate sound understanding of the Automated Inspection System (AIS) concerning sample collection, clearing jams, etc.

Assist in training and assisting Vial Inspection/Packer Level I new hires

Help promote and implement safety/EHS directives and maintain a clean and safe workspace

Follow cGMP and adhere to all ISO and safety guidelines and policies

High School Diploma or GED, required

Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing setting

Experience in product inspection and packaging, highly preferred

Experience working with Production equipment

Ability to read, write and speak English language
