The ideal candidate is a collaborative legal professional who can balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This position will partner closely with Sales, Procurement, Product, Finance, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to support the company's growth while protecting its legal and commercial interests.What You'll DoDraft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, professional services agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements, and customer-facing contractsProvide day-to-day legal support to Sales and Customer Success teams throughout the contract lifecycleAdvise business stakeholders on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters impacting company operationsAssist with corporate governance activities, including entity management, board-related matters, and corporate record maintenanceSupport privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, and information security initiatives, including customer and vendor diligence requestsPartner with Human Resources on employment-related matters, policies, and legal complianceAssist with dispute resolution, claims management, and outside counsel coordination when necessaryDevelop and improve legal processes, templates, playbooks, and contract management practices to increase efficiency and scalabilityMonitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to SaaS, technology, and digital supply chain industriesDeliver practical, business-focused legal advice that enables growth while appropriately managing riskWhat You'll NeedBasic QualificationsJuris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state barApproximately 3-5 years of relevant legal experience, including law firm and/or in-house counsel experienceExperience drafting and negotiating commercial contractsStrong understanding of contract law and general corporate legal principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environmentStrong business judgment and pragmatic problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsIn-house legal experience supporting a SaaS, technology, software, or digital supply chain companyExperience with data privacy, information security, and compliance mattersFamiliarity with software licensing, cloud services, and enterprise customer agreementsExperience supporting international business operationsLL.M. or additional legal specialization is a plusWhat Does Success in this Role Look Like?The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor who develops strong relationships across the business, provides practical and timely legal guidance, and helps the company scale while effectively managing legal and commercial risk.Who We AreElemica is a leading provider of Digital Supply Chain Management solutions and the premier multi-enterprise collaboration network for global process manufacturing industries.
