Madison County Detention Center | Alabama Full Time | 5:45 AM to 6:30 PM Rotating Schedule Including Every Other Weekend

What You'll Do

Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response

Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team

Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation

Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and correctional personnel

Educate patients and promote wellness while ensuring quality, compassionate care

Follow established clinical protocols and maintain compliance with company and facility standards

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Correctional nursing experience is welcomed but not required. We provide training and support for nurses new to correctional healthcare.
