Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Join our dynamic Cardiac Telemetry unit, where you will provide high-quality patient care for individuals recovering from various cardiac issues. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team that values collaboration and teamwork.
This is a 13-week contract position.
12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patient conditions post-heart catheterization, including CHF and COPD patients.
Read cardiac strips and administer medications as necessary, including titration of Heparin.
Perform patient admissions and discharges actively, ensuring thorough documentation and care transitions.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
Support Nursing Assistants with basic patient care, if required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Valid RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Experience in reading cardiac strips and managing telemetry patients.
Comfortable with titrating Heparin and managing medical drips.
