Pay Range: $24.00-$27.00/hour

POSITION PURPOSE

The Groundskeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining the building, grounds and mechanical equipment with particular attention towards safety and security.

Responsibilities:

Understands and abides by all safety protocols.
Willingly embrace last-minute changes in direction and unexpected changes in operational plan.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Maintains positive guest relations at all times.
Maintains timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program
Checks work orders and night report for any assignment to be completed
Performs Preventive Maintenance work orders. For example:
Monitors and maintains all laundry and kitchen equipment
Maintains guestrooms using rooms preventive maintenance program
Changes air-conditioning filters per the maintenance program
Checks HVAC equipment; changes filters, belts, bearings and lubricates as necessary. Also checks for unusual noise or vibration, and adjusts as necessary
Changes or repairs locks as needed
Performs general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas
Performs guest requests as assigned
Assists in all phases of repair work
Assists other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area
Maintains the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handles chemicals for designated uses/surfaces
Ensures security of any assigned keys
Completes any/all assigned projects
