The successful candidate in this position will possess key skills and experience which include knowledge of international import transportation, import brokerage procedures, U.This role primarily requires the individual to manage accounts from A to Z, prepare all documentation necessary to clear merchandise through Customs and any applicable PGA, provide excellent, thorough, and prompt customer service and perform any tasks assigned by the Manager, Supervisor, or Team Lead that meets the needs of the team and department.

Ensuring area housekeeping requirements are met.
Meeting established procedures and productivity, safety and quality standards including all OSHA rules and LOGISTEED America, Inc. safety practices.
Communicating both orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner.
Obtaining and checking all transportation documentation to meet Customs and insurance requirements and compliance with local and international regulations.
Entering data of client shipment detail including country of origin, documentation, HTS classification and payment is up to date and accurate.
Resolving customer issues, handling and solving incidents (e.g. disputes)
Preparing Customs entries, including HTS classification, data input, customer invoicing and delivery of freight.
Coordinating with US Customs Brokerage to guide the freight efficiently through complex import procedures.
Communicating with Customs and Other Government agencies to ensure accurate regulatory compliance.
Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as customer and business need dictates.
Able to consistently produce highly accurate information for internal operations and external customers.

Previous Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ operational freight forwarding experience in custom entry writing.
Previous experience with metal commodities, tariff application, and HTS classifications.
High school diploma / GED required
Equivalent work experience will be considered

Demonstrated experience interacting, developing and maintaining customer relationships
Proven success in and improving quality, service, safety and client relationship in a fast-paced high-pressure setting
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work flexible hours according to business needs
Fluency in English
Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex data
Ability to respond effectively to most sensitive inquiries or complaints

• Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 /per hour DOQ (This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
