Registered Nurse, RN - Ambulatory Care Surgery Center

Registered Nurse In Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)This position is in a unit with 20 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1, but 1:1 is not uncommon for higher acuity patients. The unit handles neuro patients experiencing herniation and requiring treatments such as "brain drains." Open abdomens from surgery are often re-opened at the bedside. The unit is preparing to implement an ECMO program. We seek travel nurses with experience in ICUs or STICUs from level 1-2 trauma centers. Specialized training on devices is preferred in addition to general ICU experience.
