Tax Attorney - Corporate & M&A
We are seeking a Tax Attorney to join our Corporate & M&A practice. This attorney will support and advise clients on a broad range of tax planning and tax controversy matters, including federal, state, and local disputes, administrative proceedings, and tax‑related issues that arise in transactional work. Represent clients in federal, state, and local tax audits, examinations, administrative appeals, and other disputes.

Manage communication and negotiations with the IRS and state and local taxing authorities.

Develop and implement strategies for resolving tax controversies.

Partner with the Corporate/M&A team on tax issues related to structuring, diligence, deal documents, and post‑closing matters.

Advise clients and colleagues on tax planning matters and tax return positions.

Advise clients on tax compliance, exposure assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.

Manage client relationships, ensuring timely communication, and delivering clear, concise, and actionable advice on tax planning and compliance.

5+ years of transactional tax experience demonstrating strong expertise.
