Job Overview
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Plano - Registered Nurse, Emergency Department, Full‑time Days, 3/12 hour shifts 9:00 A‑9:00 P.

Responsibilities

70% of the time will be spent monitoring inpatients and emergency room patients in Imaging Services.

30% working in the Emergency Department helping with patient flow.

Complete patient assessments, administer medications, manage vasoactive medication, chest tubes, blood products, and perform conscious sedation monitoring.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years ED or ICU RN experience.

Ability to conduct conscious sedation monitoring.

Strong communication skills.

Patient Population
All patient populations. Plano is not trauma designated and does not admit pediatrics or OB/L&D.

Patient Ratio and Bed Capacity
Patient ratio 1:4. Number of beds: 16 beds.

Required Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.

Certification / License

Registered Nurse (RN).
