Graduate Nurse / RN ICU

Provides specialized nursing care to patients in Step-Down ICU and ICU units, requiring extensive critical care experience. Ensures patient safety, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and adheres to hospital policies and standards.

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved protocols, policies, and legal requirements.

Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with standards of care.

Develop and execute personalized patient care plans, including patient and family education.

Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.

Support other units and departments with clinical expertise to promote continuity of care.

Hold a valid IL Nursing License.

Graduate from an accredited nursing education program; Demonstrate extensive ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Willing to float to Step-Down ICU as needed.

Work in a dynamic environment focused on patient-centric care.
