Litigation Paralegal

We are partnering with a well-established national litigation law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys through every phase of the litigation process.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting complex civil litigation matters, managing case files, coordinating discovery, and preparing cases for trial. Serve as a primary liaison between attorneys, clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files and supporting documentation.

Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories, and related filings.

Conduct legal and case-specific research to support litigation matters.

Coordinate all phases of discovery, including document collection, review, organization, and production.

Prepare trial materials including exhibits, witness binders, demonstrative evidence, and hearing notebooks.

Maintain litigation calendars and monitor court deadlines to ensure timely filings.

Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.

6+ years of litigation paralegal experience required.

• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, filings, and litigation processes.
• Experience managing complex litigation matters from discovery through trial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document/case management software.
• Experience supporting insurance litigation or complex civil litigation is a plus.

Comfortable managing multiple active litigation matters simultaneously.

Experienced working in a deadline-driven legal environment.
