We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Natick, MA. In this role, you will work as part of a team to combine scientific and engineering principles, data driven techniques, and the most current experimental methods with robust subject-specific scientific expertise, to implement high-value solutions to complex technical problems. You will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise across an extremely wide cross-section of industry and will interact with a variety of client contacts ranging from managers, engineers, legal staff, and business leaders. Performing electrical engineering analysis related to ongoing Exponent consulting work in a broad range of fields including power systems, power electronics, renewable energy, battery systems, electromechanical equipment, control systems, consumer products, and electrical safetyApplying your overall problem-solving skills and your deep expertise in electrical engineering or your related discipline to solve the difficult technical challenges that underly fundamental questions including why a system failed, how equipment can be made safer, and how products can perform betterDesigning and executing testing and analysis programs in both laboratory and field settingsCommunicating technical information to diverse audiences; Electronic circuits including analog and/or digital systemsPower electronics and/or power systemsControl systemsInstrumentation and sensorsSignal ProcessingEmbedded systemsIndustrial process controlRoot cause/failure analysis
