We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with strong payroll expertise to oversee HR operations and ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing for a growing organization in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is ideal for a hands‑on HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can manage the full employee lifecycle while maintaining payroll accuracy and compliance.
Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding.
Process and oversee bi‑weekly or semi-monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations.
Maintain employee records, HRIS data integrity, and payroll documentation.
Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and leave of absence programs.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and EEOC regulations.
Handle employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Support managers with coaching, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
Manage workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and HR compliance reporting.
Generate HR and payroll reports, workforce analytics, and metrics for leadership review.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR strategy.
Coordinate employee engagement programs, training, and company events.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
3+ years of Human Resources management experience.
Hands‑on payroll processing experience required.
Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and employment laws.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, UKG, Workday, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
