Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift - 4x12 hours (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), with the option of 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend is required.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong background in medical-surgical nursing. This position requires flexibility to float to similar units as needed and maintain a patient ratio of 6:1.
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
Administer medications and perform treatments according to physician's orders.
Monitor patients' conditions, interpreting vital signs and managing abnormalities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license (OK or Compact) required at the time of submission.
BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
