Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute – Charlotte, is currently seeking a Full-Time Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their established practice in Charlotte, NC. Our surgeons are readily available and easy to work with. Sign-On Bonus Eligible* Practice Highlights: The practice has 12 cardiac and thoracic surgeons across SHVI and 28 surgical APPs at three sites Busy practice averaging 1500 cases a year between cardiac and thoracic services The practice is structured with inpatient, outpatient and surgical teams and utilizes a closed ICU

Job Summary Coordinate, provide, and assist in providing comprehensive quality patient care to the Cardiothoracic patients in collaboration with a supervising physician. Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation in collaboration with a supervising physician. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the age, developmental stages, and special needs of the patients served. Will be working with a variety of MDs, APPs and ancillary staff for inpatient managementand coordination of patient care. Work in the inpatient setting on a daylight rotating four, 10-hour shift schedule with rotating weekend coverage. Travel may be required to other sites. Ideal Candidates Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program AND maintain a current license to practice as an NP or PA in North Carolina.

Physician Assistants: certification from the NCCPA required

Nurse Practitioners: Acute Care NP Certification required

Experience in cardiology, cardiothoracic or vascular surgery preferred
