Our Commercial Construction client is looking to hire a Director of Operations! - We are seeking a Director of Operations to join our thriving construction company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction operations, including planning, management, materials, finances, and financials. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, the Director of Operations will be a key player in our executive team, leading our construction operations to new heights of success.

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the construction projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Manage and coordinate the procurement of materials, ensuring optimal cost-effectiveness and quality.

Oversee financial management of the projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovative approaches to operational challenges.

Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and maintain high standards of health and safety across all operations.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a positive working environment.

Collaborate with other department heads to align operational activities with business objectives.

Regularly report to the CEO and Board of Directors on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within the construction industry.

Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, operational management, and financial management.

In-depth knowledge of construction operations, including materials, project management, and financial aspects.

Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data.

Proficiency in using construction management software and other related technology.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
