Join a community hospital in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, providing full-time Emergency Medicine coverage in a collaborative hospital setting. This locums opportunity offers 24-hour in-house shifts, excellent clinical support, EPIC EMR, and the opportunity to care for patients of all ages.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:

Hospital
Community Emergency Department
Patient Population:

All ages
Approximately 25-30 patients per day
Facility Details:

• 10-bed Emergency Department
• 10-bed inpatient unit
• CT and additional imaging available onsite

Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
Stabilize and manage acute medical conditions
Coordinate admissions and transfers as needed
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and ancillary staff
Document all patient encounters in EPIC

Emergency physicians

Emergency department technicians
Advanced Practice Providers as needed
Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine
Active Pennsylvania Medical License required
DEA required
ABEM certification preferred but not required
Minimum one year of Emergency Medicine experience
Credentialing

Approximately 90-day credentialing timeframe
Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
