LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established Detroit law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice. The firm is open to candidates from a variety of litigation backgrounds, with a strong preference for defense litigation experience. Plaintiff-side experience may be considered for exceptional candidates with highly transferable skills and a strong litigation foundation.

Assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case intake through trial preparation.
Draft, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
Manage and maintain case files, calendars, deadlines, and litigation databases.
Coordinate and track discovery, including document review, production, and responses.
Conduct factual research and assist with legal research as needed.
Prepare exhibits, witness files, trial binders, and other case-related materials.
Review and summarize medical records, employment records, and other case documentation when applicable.
Ensure compliance with court rules, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines.
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience preferred.

• Experience in defense litigation strongly preferred; candidates with other litigation backgrounds will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and court deadlines.
