This range is provided by Law Mom,LLC . We're excited that you're considering joining us at Law Mom as a Senior Associate Trusts and Estates Attorney based in Newburyport, Massachusetts . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney to step into a high-level role, providing expert estate planning services to our valued clients. This is an in-office position where you’ll be working alongside a collaborative team and will have the chance to lead, mentor, and make an immediate impact.

Provide legal counsel to high-net-worth individuals and families on trusts, wills, probate, and related matters.
Lead and manage complex estate planning, probate, and administration cases.
Draft and review estate planning documents with precision and care using Wealth Counsel software.
Jump in on sophisticated trust and estate issues and collaborate with our legal team to provide the best outcomes for our clients.
Mentor junior attorneys and legal staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Answer legal team questions with ease and knowledge.
Ensure legal staff is supported in meeting KPI requirements.
Host webinars and workshops within the community (min. 2 nights a month required).
A minimum of 5+ years of sophisticated experience in trusts and estates law.
Elder Law experience preferred.
Expertise in estate planning, trusts, probate law, and taxation related to estate matters.
A tech-savvy mindset and the ability to learn and use legal technology effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
Excellent knowledge of income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax matters.
Plus, if you know tax return preparation.
