Job Description As a Security Officer Campus Patrol in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal team member, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic retail location, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver welcoming customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This role offers the opportunity to communicate clearly, support a positive environment, and contribute through teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.
Position Type: Full Time / Day Shift
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and retail customers by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, property concerns, and security‑related hazards in accordance with site procedures.
Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
