Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with looking to take ownership of innovative product development and play a key role in scaling next-generation solar manufacturing technology?
On offer is the opportunity to be an integral part mechanical product design for advanced photovoltaic modules and manufacturing processes, working on cutting-edge renewable energy technology while taking ownership of design, validation, prototyping, and production integration.
This company is a US-based deep-tech solar start-up scaling breakthrough photovoltaic technology. They are developing next-generation solar materials through advanced roll-to-roll manufacturing and perovskite technology, with the goal of dramatically improving solar panel production efficiency and accelerating the transition to cleaner energy.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you will influence product development from early-stage concepts through prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing scale-up.
This role would suit a technically driven Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working with prototypes, owning designs, and contributing to innovative technology within a growing company.
Design and development of next-generation solar modules, components, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
Create and optimize 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks and other CAD platforms
Perform mechanical analysis, including FEA, stress analysis, and design validation
Develop prototypes, test assemblies, and improve designs based on performance data
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
Mechanical design experience within product development, manufacturing, or advanced engineering environments
Strong experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
Experience with FEA, structural analysis, stress analysis, or mechanical validation
