Devereux Day Academy – Laguna Hills is seeking a compassionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to serve students in an elementary autism classroom. Starting 8/19/2026 $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for fully certified teachers* This role focuses on delivering structured, evidence-based instruction designed to meet the academic, social, communication, and behavioral needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Education: Bachelor's degree and a valid California Mild/Moderate Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential, added Authorization Autism Spectrum Disorder (AAAS) or California Moderate/Severe Disabilities Educational Specialist Instruction Credential.
Experience: Special Education instruction experience required. Experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum preferred. Experience with IEP documents and the IEP process.
