Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active CTC licensure in Special Education – Mild to Moderate credential required
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher, especially with elementary-aged children
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt lessons and instructional strategies for diverse learning abilities
• Passion for fostering both academic and social-emotional growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in grades K-3
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families to ensure students’ needs are met
• Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and maintain thorough documentation
• Develop a positive, structured classroom environment focused on respect and empowerment
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
