Step into a rewarding contract position working with elementary students in a mild to moderate Special Education setting near Orange, CA. This opportunity is available immediately and will extend through June 10, 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners from kindergarten through third grade. You’ll work a consistent 37.5 hours per week (8-hour days, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), supporting students at a local elementary campus.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active CTC licensure with a Mild to Moderate authorization (required)
• Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with elementary (K-3) students
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Dedication to providing equitable learning opportunities for all students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to elementary students in a mild/moderate special education classroom
• Develop and update IEPs, monitor student progress, and adjust plans to best support individual growth
• Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to foster student success
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Create a positive, structured learning environment that helps each student thrive
