This is a contract opportunity located in Mission Viejo, CA, with assignment dates running from ASAP through June 10, 2027. The position offers full-time hours—37.5 per week—with an 8-hour school day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active CTC licensure in Special Education, Mild to Moderate required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborative and flexible mindset

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction for students in a mild to moderate elementary caseload (grades K-3)
• Design and implement IEPs to promote student growth and achievement
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Adapt lessons and classroom activities to meet individual student needs
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and parent conferences
• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
