Job Description
Title: RN - Progressive Care
Schedule:

• Staffing ratio: 1:5 (days / nights / weekends)
• Weekend requirement: Minimum of 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements:

• License: Missouri or Compact required (travelers may need both Kansas and Missouri licenses)
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred
• Years of experience: 1-2 years (first-time travelers accepted)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adults and geriatric patients in progressive care unit settings.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, conducting assessments and implementing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and manage patient care activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation: 12 hours
• RTO: Maximum of 7 days allowed
• Local rule: Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility.
