Job Description The Pearl of North Aurora is seeking Human Resources Director to lead a team of long-term care professionals.

This Human Resources role supports a smaller skilled nursing facility with a smaller employee population, offering a hands-on HR position with a focused scope of responsibility.

This is a vital role in a facility with a positive community reputation, a history of successful outcomes, and an experienced cohesive team.

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the HR department. (developing HR policy manuals, employee job descriptions, performance evaluations, etc.)

Assist in determining departmental staffing, evaluate employee performances, and make recommendations to the administrator concerning wage and salary adjustments, hiring, terminations, transfers, etc.
Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent employee information in accordance with the Privacy Act, as well as our facility’s established policies governing the release of information.
Develop, implement and maintain an adequate personnel record filing system that meets the needs of the facility and complies with current employment practices.
Gain a deep understanding of the healthcare roles you're recruiting for. Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience (Preferred)
Two years prior human resources experience preferred; Demonstrated computer skills required.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
