Our Dupuy Jacksonville location (SILO) is looking for skilled and dependable Mechanical Technicians to join our Maintenance team. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently, this could be a great opportunity for you.
As a Mechanical Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining and repairing facility equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will complete preventive maintenance, equipment adjustments, troubleshooting, repairs, and work orders.
What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, adjustments, and repairs on facility and operational equipment.
Complete assigned work orders accurately and timely.
Inspect equipment for defects, identify potential issues, and promptly report concerns.
Assist with the development and continuous improvement of preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
Work closely with Operations and Quality to troubleshoot equipment and production-related issues.
Read and apply information from equipment manuals, specifications, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support repairs, inspections, parts procurement, and technical needs.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and completed work.
Help identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Maintain clean, organized, and production-ready work areas, including the maintenance shop.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Safety & Quality Safety and quality are essential to everything we do. Mechanical Technicians are expected to:
Follow all Dupuy safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and machine-guarding requirements.
Maintain required GMP, PPE, housekeeping, and 5S standards .
Report unsafe conditions, equipment defects, and out-of-specification conditions immediately.
Follow applicable Product Hold/Release and Quality Control procedures.
Complete all required safety and quality training.
Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including OSHA, FDA, and SQF standards , as applicable.

The ideal candidate can troubleshoot problems, work collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance, follow established procedures, and take pride in keeping equipment operating at its best.
