Therefore, we are looking for a Field Service Technician/Engineer (m/d/f) to strengthen our team and ensure our customers experience optimal performance and satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities as Field Service Technician/Engineer

Install and commission instruments at customer sites, ensuring users benefit from our technology right from the start.

Deliver comprehensive operation and software training, empowering customers to use equipment safely and effectively.

Perform field repairs and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity for our clients.

Provide prompt phone and e-mail support, addressing customer issues with efficiency and professionalism.

Build and maintain positive customer relationships, enhancing Microtrac’s reputation as a trusted partner.

Accurately document service visits and maintain clear records, supporting continuous improvement and compliance.

Adhere to company policies and standards, ensuring service excellence and safety at every step.

Qualifications for Field Service Technician/Engineer

A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline is part of your qualifications.

At least 3 years’ experience servicing or repairing laboratory instruments in field settings is among your strengths.

Technical foundation includes knowledge of optical, mechanical, electronics, and computer systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills help you succeed in customer-facing roles.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% domestically, with easy access to major airports.
