Responsible for blood and blood culture collection; non-blood specimen collection including urine, sputum, semen samples, throat swabs; chain of custody specimen collection. High School Diploma or equivalent.**Phlebotomy Certification (CPT).**Six (6) months of phlebotomy experience.**Consistently draws blood competently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible for patient groups from neonates to geriatrics.Operate basic laboratory equipment (e.g., centrifuges, computer systems, labeling printers, scanners, phone system, etc.).Perform clerical duties such as filing, report distribution, processing, and faxing.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
