Yearly Base Salary Range

$71,531.00 to $107,286.00 + Benefits (Dental Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement, Full Relocation Assistance, Sign-On Bonus: Yes ($5,000 to $7,500 with 3 Years of commitments))

Must-Haves

RDCS from ARDMS, CCI OR CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.

Ability to work in fast paced environment.

Effective communication and organization skills.

3 years of Echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred.

Essential Functions

Maintain echocardiography services in accordance with standards established by the American Society of Echocardiography as well as State and Federal agencies.

Daily technical operation of the laboratory.

Working with the Medical Director, medical staff and technical staff to ensure quality patient care.

Perform echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians with first priority given to trauma and critically ill patients.

Select proper ultrasound techniques to provide optimum quality ultrasounds.

Position and instruct patients regarding procedures.

Review and agree to abide by the Porter Medical Center Compliance Program.

Back up studies.

Copy studies to disc as needed for review.

Adhere to Porter Hospital and Cardiology Department policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintain equipment and supplies.

Maintain required records, documents, and statistics.

Participate in both in-service and out service professional educational programs.

Attend cardiology department meeting.
