Structural Steel WelderEssential SkillsProficiency in structural steel welding, with strong experience using flux core welding on structural steel.Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints and weld symbols accurately.Experience operating overhead cranes safely in a steel fabrication or similar industrial environment.Competence using air arc, grinders, magnetic drills, and other common fabrication tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, structurally sound welds.Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.Ability to work safely and consistently in a loud, heavy industrial setting.Capability to maintain a clean, organized work area while managing multiple tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in a steel fabrication shop environment.Comfort working with both newer and older equipment and machinery.Ownership of personal tools suitable for structural steel welding and fabrication work.Job Type & LocationThis is a permanent position based out of York, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
