Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently, depending on your qualifications
Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted by your professional scope
Engaging in follow-up care and management of chronic conditions
Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, comprehensive care
Maintaining accurate and exhaustive documentation within electronic health records (EHR)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of North Carolina
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Expertise in EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms
