LPN/LVN - Day Shift
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Additional rotating Saturday shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM are required.
Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will work in a fast-paced environment, capable of performing various nursing competencies. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
Rooming patients and performing injections.
Conducting EKGs and nasopharyngeal swabs.
Monitoring patient vital signs including blood pressure and ear flushes.
Providing care and support to pediatric patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN/LVN.
Current NY State LPN/LVN license required.
EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
Ambulatory and pediatric experience preferred.
