Indian Rocks Eats is seeking a passionate and servant-hearted Lead Chef to help lead our growing hospitality ministry. Operational Alignment: Cooperate with Indian Rocks Church and School Administration in implementing all policies, procedures, and directives governing the organization's operation.

Professional Conduct: Follow Biblical principles in dealing with staff, congregants, and Administration in a positive Christian manner.

Attendance: Regular and reliable attendance is required as an essential function of any position.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist in leading daily lunch service for 1,500+ students and staff.

Help prepare meals for our Fueling for Excellence athlete nutrition program.

Support catering events, family dinners, and special events.

Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and safety.

Foster a positive kitchen culture through teamwork, leadership, and mentorship.

Assist with kitchen organization, prep coordination, and recipe scaling.

Requirements

Education, Experience, Physical Abilities and Skills

• 46 years of culinary leadership or high-volume kitchen experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and serving others.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and recipe scaling.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Must give testimony and evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and sense the call of God to a serving ministry.

Demonstrate a consistent Christian lifestyle as referenced by the Mission, Statement of Faith, and Leadership Guidelines of Indian Rocks.

Must be an active member of Indian Rocks as defined by regular attendance in worship services, regular attendance/involvement in an Indian Rocks Connection Group or Small Group, commitment to systematic stewardship, and faithful in tithing.
