Both practical and educational expertise in HR fundamentals, including employee relations, benefits administration, leave management and compliance with federal and state employment law

This position is responsible for the day-to-day Human Resource Generalist responsibilities and will execute a broad range of HR services and support to the real estate portfolio on a professional level. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, employee relations, leave management, conflict resolution, recruitment, training and development and all aspects of compliance with the end goal of serving as a trusted advisor to employees at all levels.
Serve as a partner in recruiting by sourcing and screening for all open positions.
Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions, as needed
Compliance, Employee Relations and Benefits and Leave Management Employee relations to include managing the company’s relationship with its employees from hiring process to current employees to the exit process
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements
Maintain management guidelines by updating and recommending HR policies and procedures
Prepares, monitors and supports property supervisors with performance evaluations, including annual reviews and bonus evaluations
Serves as the point of contact for workers' compensation, managing open claims, ensuring employees receive appropriate medical care, coordinating with the insurance broker, and following up with training to prevent repeat accidents

Training and Development Prepares employees for assignments by conducting new hire orientation
Assists prepare all end of employment documents for exiting employees and reviews documents/procedures with departing staff (letter, contract release, benefit conversion documents).
Maintain yearly and monthly online training platform
General Handle highly confidential information
Ability to not only create reports but use the data to present trends and opportunities.
Serves as the point of contact for our outsourced Paylocity payroll provider, including submitting monthly bonus sheets and participating in the payroll approval process twice per month
Role models the policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; This is the estimated salary a candidate can expect to earn upon hire and will be determined based on the experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications
