Job Description Veterinary Assistant (Experienced)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our growing veterinary team. Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient care and treatments
Safely restrain and handle dogs, cats, and other small animals
Prepare examination rooms and surgical areas
Collect patient histories and record medical information accurately
Assist with laboratory procedures, diagnostics, and sample collection
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
Minimum 1 year of veterinary assistant experience preferred
Knowledge of animal handling and restraint techniques
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
Experience with venipuncture, radiology, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
Familiarity with veterinary practice management software
Veterinary Assistant certification is a plus but not required
