We are looking for a highly motivated, commercial, and astute regulatory Legal Counsel to join our legal team. As part of the legal team at Coinhako, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and on matters at the forefront of the intersection between financial technology and regulations. As such, you should be generally comfortable reviewing and advising on cutting-edge regulatory issues and providing legal counsel across Coinhako’s business and compliance teams. Advising business stakeholders on legal and regulatory issues affecting all areas of the business.
Reviewing applicable laws and regulations and providing strategic guidance to key stakeholders in navigating legal and regulatory issues.
Providing end-to-end legal and regulatory support for the launch of new products and services.
Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Liaising with various regulatory authorities and assisting with licence applications.
Engagement with policymakers on developments affecting the blockchain industry.
Managing and resolving legal disputes, including alternative dispute resolution methods.
Legal qualification in Singapore, Hong Kong, UK or other comparable common law jurisdiction will be preferred.
- Relevant financial services regulatory and corporate experience will be a plus.
- A commercial mind that enables you to identify and distill a variety of legal issues (e.g., regulatory, contract, IP, privacy, consumer protection, risk) and clearly communicate practical risk-based solutions to the business and product teams.
