Head of Recruiting & HR

Sodexo is seeking an onsite Human Resources Manager 2 at UF Health St Johns and Durbin Park Hospitals located in Saint Johns County FL near Jacksonville and St Augustine.

HRM2 supports Environmental Services (98+ employees at 2 locations). Focus: labor relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, FMLA/LOA/ADA/admin leave monitoring, PTO balance sheets, promotions. HR exp required.

Whether supporting day-to-day HR operations or contributing to larger process improvements, you'll be at the center of meaningful work that keeps people informed, records accurate, and policies running smoothly.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

You'll contribute to HR operations that directly impact employee experience, from onboarding to records management

Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, offering support on a wide range of HR-related questions

Work with accuracy and attention to detail in managing data, systems, and compliance documentation

You'll help streamline and improve processes that support talent, mobility, and leave administration

Collaborate on cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and enhance team effectiveness

Gain hands-on experience with HR systems and tools while supporting internal customers

A detail-oriented mindset with a strong grasp of HR systems, processes, and data accuracy

Comfort navigating policies and procedures with the ability to explain them clearly and confidently

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Management Experience: 2
