Our mission is to provide individualized, evidence-based, recovery-oriented care that addresses the whole person—both mental and physical wellness—in a safe, compassionate, and structured environment.We are seeking an experienced Double Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical team. This provider will play a key role in delivering integrated medical and psychiatric care to adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.The ideal candidate is dual board certified in Family Medicine (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP), possesses strong clinical judgment, and has extensive experience treating patients in medical detoxification settings.Position ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluations for patients in detox, residential, and outpatient programs.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions within the family practice scope.Develop and oversee individualized medical and psychiatric treatment plans.Respond to medical and psychiatric concerns while ensuring timely interventions.Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, therapists, admissions, and case management teams to provide coordinated, multidisciplinary care.Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.What We're Looking ForExtensive experience treating patients with mental health and substance use disorders.Required experience managing patients through medical detoxification.Strong knowledge of addiction medicine, withdrawal management, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders.Confidence managing general medical conditions within a family practice scope.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity behavioral healthcare environment.Flexibility to travel between locations as needed.Required QualificationsActive, unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner licenseDouble Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) AND Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)Active DEA registration with prescriptive authorityCurrent CPR/BLS certificationMinimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health, addiction medicine, or related clinical practiceDemonstrated experience providing medical care in a detoxification setting is requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience in residential behavioral health or psychiatric treatment facilitiesFamiliarity with Joint Commission and DBHDD regulationsExperience using electronic medical record (EMR) systemsWork EnvironmentFull-time position across multiple facilities located in Johns Creek & Dunwoody GeorgiaIn PersonCollaborative, mission-driven clinical environment focused on recovery and stabilizationMosaic Wellness and Recovery is a Drug Free Workplace.We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable laws.
