Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool team. This position involves providing high-quality care in various units, specifically focusing on the Medical/Surgical and Telemetry patient populations. The ideal candidate should be flexible and ready to adapt to diverse patient needs across different units.
Shift Details

• Rotating shifts: Night (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and Day (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Variable shifts may be required to meet operational needs

Provide nursing care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry units, ensuring adherence to standards of care.
Float to specific units as needed, primarily J1-2, J33, and Emergency Department.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
Document patient assessments and progress accurately in the electronic health record.
Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty, with at least 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience.
Active Ohio nursing license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) are mandatory.
Travel experience is preferred but not required.
Must work every other holiday as part of the commitment to patient care.
Annual Hands-On Competency Requirement must be completed if returning on a subsequent contract in the following year.
