Travel - Registered Nurse (ER Day Shift)

Registered Nurse – ER in Bakersfield, CA. This travel assignment begins on 04/13/2026 for 8 weeks. Shift: 3x12-hour days (days). Setting: Home Healthcare - Hospice.

Weekly pay: $1,909–$1,937 per week

Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC

Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.

Assess patient status, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes.

Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with the hospice interdisciplinary team.

Communicate and collaborate with other disciplines, patients, and families to support comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Ensure accurate documentation, patient safety, and regulatory compliance in a home hospice setting.

Active registered nurse license in California (in good standing) or as required by the Job Notes, with ability to practice in a home hospice environment.

Graduation from an approved nursing program; registered nurse degree (RN).

Prior nursing experience in acute care, hospice, or home health settings preferred; ability to apply nursing process to a home-based hospice population.

Demonstrated critical thinking, strong communication skills, and ability to supervise and coordinate care across nursing staff.

Ability to work a 12-hour day shift schedule and participate in a travel assignment as described.
