RN MedSurg Day Shift

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position with options for extensions.
Day shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience. The position requires a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and knowledgeable nursing professional who is ready to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting.
Monitor patient vital signs and ECG rhythm recognition.
Manage and respond to dysrhythmias appropriately.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required.
Active Ohio license or compact state license required at the time of submission.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
