Emergency Room/Hospital Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Schedule: Days (06:00), 3 x 12-hour shifts
Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Roles & Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care for assigned patients during each shift.
Supervise and delegate appropriate care to clinical staff.
Collaborate with the facility's leadership to ensure high-quality and safe nursing care.
Manage resources effectively related to patient care.
Maintain competency in clinical practices and support the development of staff.
Compliance / Notes:

Orientation is on the first day at 7 AM.
Do not use the hospital parking; staff parking is available at a nearby location.
HR office hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Patient ratios: 3:1 for step-down units and 4:1 for telemetry units.
Responsibility for patient care falls on the nurses, not CNAs.
