Manufacturing EngineerThe Plant Manager will uphold the standards and expectations set forth by upper management and is responsible for contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing functions. This position directs and manages all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production and other production-related activities. Plant Manager reports directly to the President/CEO and is part of the Management Team.Meaningful Work!Best in Class Company!Competitive Compensation Package!Complete Benefits Package!Flexible Work Schedules!Accelerated Career Growth!Fun Company Activities!Many More!SUMMARYLaunches new products into manufacturing.Consistently searches for ways to improve processes, efficiencies, and product quality.Troubleshoots manufacturing process and equipment.Ensures program commitments for cycle time and process time are achieved.Participates in lean manufacturing methodologies such as Kaizen events and value streams.Develops Manufacturing PlansStandard Work Project; Tooling / Facilities Equipment Capacity; Develop Tooling and Operations Concepts; Generate Tool Specifications; Value Stream Flow Facility Floor Planning; Consumable Materials; Product Handling/ FlowOversees all aspects of multiple projects insuring on-time and under budget project completion.Reviews plans, specifications and special provisions.Works directly with internal and external engineering and design teams for the design and manufacture of products.Provides representation at project meetings, attendance at pre-manufacturing, pre-fabrication and manufacturing meetings.Assists in troubleshooting and problem solving.Recommends removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire product.Occasional travel for business purposes may be required.Understanding and experience with safety required.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering3-5 years of experience in manufacturing
